Pakse Arrival - city tour
Warmly welcome on arrival by your local guide and transfer to the city for check in. Room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards.
We then visit the Pakse town with Wat Luang – a beautiful temple with many drawing on the wall. The monks leave from this colorful temple by sunrise every morning to collect alms. Behind the temple there is the Mekong River and the view is tremendous. It is also where Wat Phabad, the Buddhist Monk School is located. Rumor has it that Lord Buddha left his footprint here, at Wat Phabad, the biggest and oldest temple of Pakse.
Next we will visit Golden Buddha Temple on the top of a hill to admire a magnificent statue of Buddha looking down the Mekong River. From here, the panoramic view of Pakse is just amazing. You can also take photo with lots of golden images of Buddha before leaving.

Dao Heaung Market - Wat Phou - 4000 Islands (B)
After a short rest, take a stroll through Dao Heaung market for a look at its specialty. This is one of the most interesting place in Pakse in the morning where you can immerse in local life.
We then drive to visit Vat Phou Temple. Recorded on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Wat Phou is a stunning pre-angkorian temple built upon three levels.
In the afternoon, you have some time to explore Ou Mong Ruins before drive to the biggest island of Si Phan Done area – Don Khong. Enjoy the stunning views of water while relaxing at the pool of the hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
4000 Islands (B)
Today is devoted to explore the Don Det and Don Khone, two smaller islands which are considered the heaven of backpacker. Enjoy a boat trip along Mekong river, on the way you can see children of Mekong playing under water or the fishermen in their daily lives.
Take a tuk tuk to visit these two islands, which are linked by a bridge. Visit Ban Khone fishing village – where you could explore the ruins of French railway tracks and the beautiful Liphi Waterfall. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere in the islands and take awesome photos of the local life and natural beauty.
In the afternoon, we embark the motor boat again to visit Cambodian border where the famous Irrawaddy dolphins live. If you are lucky, you can see them playing and swim on the river.

4000 Islands - Khone Phapheng - Bolaven (B)
Enjoy your last minutes in Don Khong, enjoy the sunrise before leaving Si Phan Don for a drive to Khone Papheng – one of the most significant attractions of the 4000 islands. This 10 kilometer waterfall becomes the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia and considered the jewel of Laos.
Continue your drive to Bolaven which is green all year round and cooler than the rest of Laos with many tea and coffee plantation. Surrounding the plateau there are some famous protected national parks, magnificent waterfalls, ethnic villages and dense jungle, therefore it offers a great airy atmosphere and dramatic landscape.
It is also a great place to learn more about the rich culture of various ethnic groups such as Laven, Alak, Katou, Ta-Oy, Houne, Ngai and Suk.
Upon reaching Bolaven, enjoy your lodge or pay a visit to some local villages to get an insight into their traditional lifestyles.

Bolaven waterfalls - Pakse (B)
Bolaven is probably best known for being home to some of Southeast Asia’s most spectacular waterfalls. Today you will make a stop at these famous waterfalls including Tad Fane, Tad Yeang and Phasoum. These beautiful magnificent waterfalls would be ideal places for photos.
On the way back Pakse, we stop for a cup of traditional coffee or tea in a beautiful plantation. You can also visit their domestic workshop and try your hand at collecting tea leaves. Although the workshop is small, the quality of their drinks is still excellent.
After satisfying with the tea farm, we come back your hotel in Pakse with remainder of day free at leisure.

Pakse - Fly to Luang Prabang (B)
Today we enjoy last minutes in peaceful town of Pakse before taking a flight to Luang Prabang – the best destination in Laos, also a UNESCO site with lots of gilded temples, vibrant local life and beautiful natural scenery.
Welcome on arrival by our local guide and transfer to your hotel.

Luang Prabang Town and Pak Ou Caves (B)
Today set off your exploration with a visit to the Royal Palace also known as the National Museum to learn more about the long-lasting history and culture of the region.
Afterwards, transfer to the pier and take a long-tailed boat for an upstream cruise. During the cruise, you will be treated a stunning of nature along the river. From the distance you can see limestone cliffs where the hidden Pak Ou Caves are located. The cave is home to thousands of Buddha statues which make the region a revered one. Take your time to explore numerous images hidden in the cave.
Then, make your way back to the city. En-route, stop to visit Ban Xang Hai village to learn more about the making process of the traditional Lao rice whisky. It is a great chance to taste its unique flavor. Move onto Ban Xang Khong village- famous for its wood paper and Lao silk weaving.
Afterwards, we transfer back to hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Kuang Si Falls and Luang Prabang Temples (B)
Start your beautiful day with a visit to the morning market- Phosi Market- which is considered the biggest market in Luang Prabang. Here, you will get an insight into local way of life as they flock together to buy and sell goods. Don’t miss out on the chance to sample delicious Lao food.
Make your way to Kuang Si waterfall – a stunning waterfall. On the way, you will pass through rice fields and beautiful small villages dotted along country road. Make a stop at some of the villages before arriving at the waterfall. Take a fresh swim to refresh yourself in many basins.
Head back to Luang Prabang to explore the old city with numerous ancient temples including Vat Xieng Thong, perhaps the most photographed temple in LuangPrabang and Wat Sene – one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang.
In the late afternoon, transfer to the famous Phousi Mountain to enjoy stunning sunset over the city.

Luang Prabang - Depart (B)
Enjoy your last minutes in Luang Prabang on your own to go shopping, taste some cups of coffee or wander around the quiet streets. Room is at your disposal until 12.00 noon only. Then our driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to next destination. Meals on your own. End of services.
