How to Get to Vang Vieng from Vientiane & Luang Prabang?

Located on the 13 National Highway between Vientiane and Luang Prabang, this rural town is easy to reach from these 2 places. Backpackers can take a bus, a taxi or rent a private car to reach the town. The road between Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng is mountainous and offering astonishing landscapes through small rustic Lao villages. Meanwhile, the path between Vang Vieng and Vientiane is flatter but less interesting.
